Fugro Equator is set to carry out some further bathymetric operations in the MH370 search area. On 31 October, Fugro Equator arrived in Fremantle to commence mobilisation for the underwater search.

Due to delays in the supply of equipment and in order to utilise the vessel effectively, Fugro Equator departed Fremantle yesterday for the search zone to continue bathymetric survey work until the equipment becomes available.

The state-of-the-art vessel has been conducting bathymetric operations in the southern Indian Ocean since mid June.
