Liow: Debris found in Besut not from MH370
A team comprising personnel from the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA), the Ministry of Transport and MAS has examined the debris recently found on the shores of Besut, Terengganu, in order to determine its origins.

With regards to recent reports of debris discovered off the coast of Southern Thailand, the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) has been in close contact with Thai authorities as well as other relevant investigative teams on this matter.
PETALING JAYA: The “plane wreckage” found off the coast of southern Thailand is not from Malaysia Airlines (MAS) flight MH370, says Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai (pic).
The Transport Minister said that the Malaysian team comprising of Department of Civil Aviation (DCA), Ministry and Malaysian Airlines (MAS) officials found that the part assembly number, wire bundle number and bolts part number did not match those of a Boeing 777.
